Attach a measuring tape or string to the main halyard shackle. Hoist it to the top of the mast (fully up).
Pull the tape measure tight (under moderate tension) from the halyard shackle to the TOP CENTER of the transom.
Note the measurement in millimeters or inches. Typical range: 6750mm - 6950mm (266" - 274").
Important: Measure with the rig tensioned to your sailing settings. A slack rig will give inaccurate readings.
