30-Day Return Window
Most items purchased from our shop can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the item is in original, unused condition with all packaging intact. Custom-built boats and made-to-order items may have different terms—please inquire at the time of purchase.
How to Return an Item
- Contact us at gp14build@gmail.com or call 07742 545 699 to request a return
- Obtain a return shipping label (we cover return costs for defective items)
- Package the item securely in original packaging if possible
- Ship to our Northern Ireland address
- Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
Warranty Information
All GRP foils (centreboards and rudders) come with a 12-month manufacturing warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Custom-built boats include a 2-year structural warranty. Warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of discovering the defect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for refund:
- Custom-built boats (unless defective)
- Items showing signs of use or damage
- Items returned after 30 days
- Digital products or services
- Items purchased during final sale events
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping. Damage claims must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item. Return shipping is covered by Donnelly GP14 for warranty claims and defective items.
Custom Build Refunds
For custom boat builds, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin construction. If you wish to cancel before construction begins, the full deposit is forfeited. Cancellations after construction has begun are subject to completion of the build and sale at market value.
